Since our household has fallen into hard times (again) I'm once again going to try and sell some of my stuff. Thing is, my mother doesn't want to deal with places like Ebay or Amazon and I don't have the credentials for having an account at those places myself (at least I think I don't since I have neither a bank account nor a credit card or anything like that). So, I was wondering if it'd be okay to post a list of what I'm selling somewhere around here. I'd rather that you guys had first picks, anyway. If there's anything interesting enough, that is. *Shrugs*

How much do you need?
Let's start there.

I'm not entirely sure. I just know that the income tax return isn't going to relieve us as much as it usually does. Which is to mean that there's usually enough between the two that work to pay off any outstanding bills that they've fallen behind on. If things go well it isn't until the end of the year when we have a distinct food shortage because of the bills being paid first. I usually have anywhere between fifty and a hundred dollars to spend each month, but right now I have nothing. The vehicle troubles we've had this year has hit us really hard, and then we got a new car that we really can't afford the monthly payments on. Even after I convinced them to get a cheaper phone service (from $80 to $20 a month), we're still falling behind. How much is needed to make up could just be a thousand, but in the long run that's a thousand in the hole at the start of the year.
So, if I'm lucky, I figure that I can chip in at least a hundred. Right now I'm checking out some game systems and games to make sure that they're in working order. And I have some music that I'm parting with. That's pretty much it. Unless anyone actually has anything that plays vinyl records; I have a stack of those, too. XD

hmm honestly that sucks....
not sure what to suggest for you to try, e-bay's selling rules are rather unknown to me as i usually just buy.
honestly brand new cars are a terrible idea for your personal finances.... though the used takes shopping and some knowledge to do it's almost always the better choice middle class so i can see where your troubles are coming from.

While I would prefer to keep prices and negotiations to PM, I certainly see where having a thread for people wanting to sell things is a good thing. I'd say go for it.
