This is the US we're talking about here. This country is no stranger to being a part of, or leading, coups. And let's not forget to mention that we even have plans made where we orchestrate an attack on ourselves, make it look like another country/group did it, to justify an action against them in the form of a reaction. I mean, come on.

Well we do make plans.

And we do have the motivation.

Doesn't mean we're guilty though, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

It wouldn't be the first time, nor likely the last time the US has done something like that. We rather have a track record in that regard, especially if they were anti-communist.
