Indeed it is, well at least a tiny version of one...

<insert joke stating it wobbles but won't fall down here>.

But all kidding aside, this is very impressive. I wonder how long til we have ridable ones....

I really like the jump at the end, that's pretty awesome.

I bet if we ever do get riding ones, they'll cost a fortune. Or break easily.

Good for the next step, but otherwise has a long way to go. For one, if if does fall over, it's game over. And it won't be useful for anything requiring stealth, because of how noisy it is.

Impressive, but only another waste of funds better directed to producing a TF raygun if you ask me

At first glance I was just "Oh look, they made something that walks... that's original" But some of the motions it makes is actually rather impressive. Not quite sure how useful this would be except to drive without wheels, but it would take some getting used to things like your car 'tripping'

Well, all things considered- it didn't fall over in those various demos they put the thing through- and unless it's totally flipped over, it looks like it's more than capable of picking itself up. Seriously, that thing is an awesome piece of engineering. I would love to see further advancements for the thing, that would allow it to roll around and pick itself up from it's back- or something like that.

From the looks of it, that thing would be good at a variety of things in the military and construction, what with it's ability to move in tough terrain and such. But I'm curious as to how long it's batteries last. I need to research this thing.
