I decided to see if I could get myself to MSF's channel, but I can't. I can get to the one reserved on Dynasty, but not from PSX-dude or Secondangle. Whenever I use /join nothing happens. What's up with that? I mean, at the very least it should create a new channel or something, right?

Well, two questions for you:
First, did you actually connect to the server? Because the server address changed a while back, so the old irc.psx-dude.net doesn't work anymore. irc.secondangle.com works though.
Second, did you remember the # before the magicalsailorfuku? If nothing else, you could try the command /list and use that to connect to the channel that way if your client permits you to connect that way.
Just a couple of recent, common errors that people have sent my way in the past, anyways.

Yup. I got connected, it said my name wasn't registered (as usual, after not using it for so long), I used /join #magicalsailorfuku, and tried the command/join channel thing. It didn't work with Secondangle, but the same thing worked with Dynasty. It seems I can't join any channel, because it doesn't do anything when I pick one from the favorites list. It's like the channel function for the server is broken, whereas it works fine on Dynasty. I just don't get it.

Huh... When was the last time you tried all of this?

Aside from last night? Months.
Correction. I decided to check again before I pressed submit, and it's still the same. In fact, I decided to try and register my nick, but even that doesn't work. I didn't try with Dynasty but I suspect it would work there, anyway. The only reaction I seem to get is when I type just any old thing and it tells me that I'm not on a channel. Well, duh. -_-

...I totally can't think of anything that may be amiss... Try shooting Xia a PM and maybe you two can work through whatever your problem is, he's a bit more technically experienced than I am with these... odd cases, I guess.

Try forwarding the port you are using to connect to IRC, most likely port 6667. I don't know about anyone else, but I see you joining the main channel every now and then, and leaving directly after...Your firewall or something might not like secondangle, but has no problem with dynastynet. It happens, sometimes, and is worth a try.

How do I forward a port? *Blinks*

Generally with an IRC client, you can specify the port you're connecting to a server.I know with vIRC and pidgin I can specify it with the server by inputing 'irc.secondangle.com: 6667'
Try that if you haven't already, unless there's a field when setting up a server connection where you can specify the server, I suppose.

Yeah, I always have that port number there. I think it was automatically added to the port field when I wanted to add secondangle.
I'm going to get rid of mIRC and download one that's more up-to-date one, if there is one. I'll get back to you later today.

Aight. If all else fails, and mirc doesn't work, there's a bajillion other clients out there that I'm sure ought to be able to work fine. Otherwise, we'll see you on IRC

I don't know where to find other clients. I just see mIRC. What others are there? I tried the new mIRC client and I get the same problem. I can connect but not a single command works. But I can still get into MSF's channel on Dynasty. I had some fun and slapped CLAMP around a bit. ;/
Something tells me this is probably a server problem, not a client problem. Secondangle must be prejudiced against something on my end that Dynasty isn't. Perhaps it's "Nekkid1?" Or maybe I somehow got permabanned or something. I dunno. It makes no sense at all, either way.
