Someone talk to me. About anything. It beats being bored.
Alliteration intended.
No, seriously. I need some serious topics or something. I'm hoping that it could be productive, for I'm looking out for anything that might spark a comedic idea in my head.
Scary, I know, but still. Feed me. U_U

Two words: Gas prices.
You asked.

How high are they now?
40$ a gallon?
Perhaps we'll all end up driving these things.

To be exact, where I am now, $3.79 a gallon.
And it still only costs me $30 to fill up.

Gas prices, eh? I believe the reason for why they have been raised is false. If it were an issue of supply and demand, the prices would have started much earlier. And if it were our presence in the Middle-East, that would just be a bad excuse.
That vehicle is funky. I have a better idea. I just wish I had the resources to make it.

Lunar powered car?
A lot of inventors accomplish an inordinate amount working out of basements.
Besides, the gas companies are making record profits. That strikes me as entirely idiotic and as a genuine reflection of humanity's ever-present self destructive ignorance.

No, a human-powered car. ;p But I don't want to give anything away lest one of my options becomes negated. I'm hoping to make a living out of being an inventor, after all.

Agreed.
We seem to be a parasitic bunch. Or, at least I don't consider slavery to be symbiotic, and I'd argue that most people are still slaves, in one form or another.

It's not even that. A parasite can still function on a whole system perpetually as long as it doesn't deplete the system faster then said system regenerates.
It's just that humans as a whole fail to understand the idea of sustainable development.

I think they understand it very well. They just don't care so long as those important to them (especially themselves) will still benefit. Although I can't really say how many of those sort of people take into consideration that their time alive is limited and what damage they may do (or add to) on a global scale won't effect them later, when it would become a problem with or without their assets/resources.
I have a solution for this oil bologna, but I still lack the resources to make it. I'm just glad that the price is within a realistic range for me, with enough saving. And I feel a bit better about it since the idea has evolved and improved a bit in the meantime.

Good luck driving it in the day time.
