George Carlin

I would have posted something sooner, but MSF was off-line and then a storm knocked out my Internet, phone, and other related things.

Anyway, Carlin was the only person, that I knew of, that I've come close to feeling admiration for. I love jokes and wordplay, and, to me, with personal opinion withstanding, I thought he was the greatest comedian ever. I doubt I would have ever been able to meet with him, much less talk to him, but if there had ever been a chance... I can't think of anyone else I'd be interested in, all things considered.

This is the first time I've ever felt some sort of loss because of someone's death, so... This is new to me and I can't quite make out how I feel about it.

Understandable Nikkou, I understand the guy was rather well liked by people. He was pretty funny though admittedly I mostly know him through watching a handful of his stand up skits. As for feeling loss, its an inevitable part of life that one will fill it, even on occasions for those they've never met. All one can do is admit they feel it and go on as there isn't much more you can do with the sensation really. Maybe observe the funeral if they have it on tv or something like they did for Steve Erwin but thats about it.

No one else?

Makes me sad.

I was having trouble getting in to MSF the last few days. He had quite the wit. It has been a good many years since I've seen his shows, but I will miss his work.
