Indeed, I think McCain was a very gracious and honorable 'loser', bravo.

Also: moved to the Tea Room so discussion may continue there. :O

so it shall be (that being said, I don't plan on being in the same state as Obama for the next four years)

Also, Ralph Nader asked if Obama would be an Uncle Sam or an Uncle Tom.

Hilarious, its on YouTube (lol)

[EDIT] And Fox News disagreed and called him a bully...hahahaha...

As if Fox News can cover up the fact that they are all racist, biased, extreme conservatives.

And the 44th President of the United States to be Inaugurated Jan 20, 2009 is... Barrack Obama! Did you know that most of the voters under 40 voted for Obama. I was one of them. So what do you all think? I think it's great that Obama and his family have just made history!

I'm good with the call America made and all, but I have to say I don't like people saying that "Obama made history." I mean, no offense to how great a campaign he ran, but I feel America made history, not Obama. We're the ones who decided he'd be the next president. He just ran for office. I think it's just great how far we've come as a country that we finally showed that color of your skin or your gender didn't matter. People forget how close the race between Obama and Hilary Clinton was. This could have just as easily been a woman in office! Heck, even the conservatives didn't seem to give a crap about McCain until Palin joined up with his campaign. Overall, I'd say the entire election cycle was a big win for America.

That is a good point Taralynn. We can't forget about the voters that put Obama in the White House. Thanks for refreshing my memory on that. I really appreciate it.

The Voters of the United States of America made history by voting for Obama. Hooray for the USA!

This post will be filled with hate and ranting you may not wish to read.

I believe that Obama is the worst thing that can possible happen to this country. Now don't get me wrong I am not a racist, I just think that a Marxist is the worst possible person to put into power. I am saddened by these results. Obama wants to take money from people who rightfully earn it and give it to people that may not. Also he says that he will give people tax breaks and yet he is planning on increasing government spending, is it just me or does this seem paradoxical. I think this country just went with the wrong president. I think that we need to shrink the Federal and give power back to the states. Under an Obama administration (really any admin) it will never happen. Obama is the most Left leaning Senator there is. If he does govern from a centrist point of view then one can ignore my post, but I for one highly doubt he will. Don't get me wrong Mccain would not have been much better the only two I would have trusted had really no chance (Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin).

Yes, clearly someone as strongly in the Neocon's pocket as mcain would shrink the government in anyway shape or form. The "conservative" movement has long since become as much about big goverment and taxing those they don't like as anyone else.

Meh, I'm just sitting back now to observe the various no doubt amusing historical events that are about to unfold. Good or ill, this looks like it'll be amusing for the next year or so.

Makes no difference to me who would've been president. Life goes on no matter who gets elected.

Well, no matter where your loyalties lie, you must respect and honor the Commander and Chief of the United States. Nya.

Sounds more like a dictator or something. He'll get honor and respect if he earns it. The people are supposed to be God. That makes me a God. Honor and respect me, beeyotches! :P

And now back to your regular brainwa-- programming.
