Is this about Yellowstone Park sitting on or near a former volcanic site? Evidence shows this is true due to the monitoring of seismic activity around the site and Old Faithful Geyser erupting quite actively for some time.

I dunno but it would be kind of cool to see an eruption. Scary, but cool.
