There was a huge earthquake in Haiti on January 13, 2010. And, apparently, Christian Broadcasting Network founder Pat Robertson talked about "something dark in Haiti's past," referring to the 1791 revolt involving a small group of Haitians who turned to Voodoo to get the French out of Haiti. His comments sparked a lot of controversy, as he claimed that "Haiti sold their souls to the Devil" and this is God's punishment for 200 some year old curse.

Not sure about that, but He doesn't seem too happy with them, does He?

"He" doesn't seem to be happy with anyone but the rich. I guess camels must be extinct, now.

Don't let Pat Robertson get to you. The guy is a nut...

The problem with that is that it's usually a bad idea for intelligent people to leave nuts alone; especially nuts with a following, which means that leaving them alone just allows their kind to fester.

You make a good point Nikkou. Honestly, it saddens me that people with such charisma and social skills and yet so much ignorance and prejudice can gain such a following. Its times like this that I want to quote that guy's speech from The Big O.
