I came across this article, and thought that it'd be perfect to discuss here. That said...

Discuss. :P

There's no microwave in my kitchen, but that's because microwaving food (leftovers or what have you) makes it taste bad and food made to be cooked in microwaves is unhealthy and tastes bad.

The original article linked to this topic is such alarmist crap. People tend to assume "radiation" with nuclear bombs and people growing three arms. You pick apart even one or two layers of that article and you'll find some hilarious FDA conspiracy or a link to Kevin Trudeau.

delicious

but seriously, I've been in college for going on six years now, four undergrad, going on two for grad...my microwave gets a lot of use. But I mitigate it by working at a restaurant and cooking food there.

Oh, was it an alarmist article? Well, damn. I guess that's what I get for picking the first "decent-looking" one I found (I didn't even read all of it), since I was having trouble finding anything and I didn't think to go to Wikipedia. I just thought I needed something relevant to throw out there, so I had a reason to bring it up. And I was too lazy to write out the usual concerns myself. ;/

I'm undecided, since I don't know how any of that stuff works and I'm not intelligent enough to pick "a side."

It's the same for me when it comes to fluorinated water. ;/
