Who were the Redblades?

As all the relevant threads concerning the battles between the Brotherhood, Muffinville Defense Alliance and Redblades are gone I am unable to find much evidence of them. While I have found information pertaining to the Brotherhood's and MDA's origins I have not been able to locate a post explaining the Redblades. This leads me to ask the following question. Who were the Redblades?

Actually, the Redblades were mine. I'm surprised anybody's taken any interest in them, since they've been totally dormant for I dunno how long.
At first, they were a small group meant to make peace between the Brotherhood and MDA. When that didn't work, they were the Christmas cheer people, like Caprice said. Not much else to say, really.
