New Room for Politics/Economics (Reply for Access)

There is a new hidden room for the sake of all people who hate the Tea Room. The new Soap Box (hidden to normal posters) is for debating and arguing political and economic topics. Religion will be added, if it becomes a hot issue. In order to see and post in the Soap Box, just reply to this thread, and you will be allowed to do so. (All mods should already have the privilege by default. If you cannot post, or do not wish to see it, post here.)

As a corollary, politics and economics are now banned in the tea room, and Kou's current threads will be moved as soon as he okays it.

Granted I don't get involved in Political and Economic topics, I do read them. And thus...

*Replied in order to see/possibly post in the Soap Box*

Seeing implies that you can respond as well. It's not exclusive. Both of you have been added.

Curious to say what this will do to the Tea Room itself...

But I'm in.

Yes!

My rate and style of posting will not change, but it'll be nice to know that I can speak a little more freely without worrying about unintentionally trampling on other conversations.

I'm not sure how the new soap box will really differ much from the old Tea Room, but I'd like to take part on the soap box, please.

Me too. I don't always read all posts, but i sometimes do and i have posted sometimes too. Also it is a practical way to keep up with american politics for a person like me who doesn't live there.
