I saw some Tokyo Mew Mew AMV and fansubs on YuTube, (I think that's how you call it). It has torrent files people created with Music videos, and they have some funny fansubs of Tokyo Mew mew/Mew Mew Power that make the characters say some hilarious stuff.
They have all the transformations of the Mew girls and a cool music video of Mew Pudding, sung to the tune of Eminem's "Slim Shady", as sung by the voice actor of Rini/ChibiUsa of Sailor Moon fame. It's entitled "Sugar Baby."
They had the chibis on there too. One video has Elliot Grant and Wesley Coolridge (the co-owners of Cafe Mew Mew) opening the doors to Cafe Mew mew, and then a group of cakes transform into the Mew Mews, then they land and Ichigo lands on all of the other 4, then Ichigo gets chased by the other 4 mew mews. LOL.

It's on youtube.com. I was trying to find a new avatar for my mew mew character for the new tokyo mew mew rpg Arya started in the regular rpg.

Hey, I saw a few AMV's on there, though none of the ones you mentioned. It was to get a bit of a feel for how the series looked. Maybe I should search out the fansubs, too. Usually I keep away from those for a licensed series, but I don't want to have to, well, buy this one, not when I'm not sure what I'll think of it. Besides, the English version did one of the worst editorial things an English adaptation can do, to my mind- anglicized the characters' names. That drives me bonkers, as I think it's totally unnecessary. Japanese names aren't THAT much harder. Grrr....

Yeah, I know what you mean, Guen. Cecillia and Alexis (in the Tokyo Mew mew rpg) use the english anime versions of the attacks and names...
They cancelled Mew mew Power from 4kids, and put out Winx Club, Bratz, and now they have Yu-gi-Oh and Ninja Turtles: Fast Foward.

Well, the English version is what the game starter seemed to be defaulting to, so I think everyone else did the same thing to keep in consistent. I personally would have gone the original Japanese route, but I'm not in charge, am I? And the person who's the boss needs to go with what they're familiar with.

See, that's what I sort of figured. I mean, the English version was more accessible due to being on tv, you know? That's why I didn't say anything. As I said, you go with the one you know.

I always go with what I know. Truthful the only reason I watch mew mew power the first time was because I was to lazy to get up and change the channel. But after that I was hooked.

Well, it's certainly a lot better than trying to do something you don't know! I wish I've been hooked on shows I've been stuck watching. Usually I've been disappointed. Then again, it's been American sitcoms, so that could be why.

American television = left wanting.
So, Kris, you're after an avatar, eh?

Yeah, I'm after a avatar of Mew Kikki or actually have one done of a teenage version of Pudding Fon (aka Kikki Benjamin from MMP). I know she's chinese, so Pudding's "daughter" Alexis would wear Chinese style clothes, and her mew mew fighting uniform is yellow with a brown monkey tail, short little brown monkey ears, and her signature attack is Tambourine Trench (or Pudding Ring Inferno). It traps the enemies in a glob of pudding, immobilizing them for another Mew mew to step up and deliver the final blow.

I might be able to do one for you later on. I honestly don't have time right now; I have a few other projects on my plate. Including inking and colorizing my own character image, and I think I'd like to draw one of her in her cafe uniform as well. But in a few weeks, talk to me and we'll see if I can do the image(s) you want. And Josh from the roleplay is artistic, as well, so if you don't want to wait so long, you could always ask him to do one for you.

Okay. I hope we can find some more people to play as the newer Mews or even some aliens, like Taruto/Tarb, Pai/Sardon, and Kishu/Dren.

If you're looking for non-official art of that character, you could look around Deviant Art or something.
I'd join in the roleplay, but I haven't watched or read the series, and I like basing things off of the original when I do things with/in them.

Hey, I haven't watched or read it, either. I've done some research, though, and in doing said research a while back, I got a mental image of a character design that wouldn't shut up until I drew her. I pretty much joined this so I could use that character, because she seemed dissatisfied to just linger on paper. I might look up some fansubs on YouTube or whatever, though; I typically don't do that, but as I'm not sure what my opinion will be, I don't feel inclined to buy it.
