And he ended up using his knowledge from Scouting to potentially save a woman's life and a six months-old infant after a car crash occurred while he and my mom were their way to a meeting. He was probably the first person to actually respond to the accident when a black SUV clipped another car's front bumper and went end-over-end several times before landing and partially the SUV's roof. The woman had been propelled out of the SUV into the pavement, suffered at least a pierced lung, and was extremely fortunate to have lived because of not wearing her seatbelt.

Accidents like these scare me so much, to see pictures of the wrecked SUV go to: http://www.tdo.com/apps/pbcs.dll/galler ... 802&Ref=PH

He literally dug out the baby from the back of the SUV, but he did not move the baby for fear of spinal injuries because the baby had also been moved from his/her original position.
