Yarr, hello there! I was tricked into writing a story for the contest by a psi disruptor, but I will likely return to my lurksome ways.
*Burrows*
Don't come near me - I do 20 canister damage!
And in case you aren't a Starcraft junkie like I am - those are Starcraft references.

*Drops a welcome-basket full of cheese and crackers into the burrow* Hullo thar! :D

Hey, you. Welcome, and don't be surprised if you get sucked in. I joined here almost two years ago because of an art contest, and well, as you can see, I'm still sticking around.

Enjoy the baked goods and crazy people, and find yourself a niche here, I hope.

How 20 canister damage attacks shall be blocked by my Black Sheep Wall! Welcome to the forums!

Wowsers - it's hard to disagree with swift replies containing cheese. But I'm not much of the sucked in type. My orbital eccentricity is greater than one and whatnot. I'm a wanderin' pilgrim trekkin' all across the internet - but if some of that cheese is moldy enough it just might knock me out enough to make me stay here until I recover ;p

Or I could just hit you with this hammer! :D You're in a burrow, so it'll be like playing that whack-a-mole game~!
*GASP* Are you a mole?! :O

He could be related to... a mouse!

That's just preposterous!! He's obviously related to an elk.

Last I knew, elk didn't burrow into holes in the ground. He must be some vaguely rodent-ish mammal of some kind. Or perhaps a lemur.

As a word of welcome I'll tell you that being a lemur isn't that bad. I know that from personal experience. Want to try it yourself?

Welcome! If Starcraft's your craft, you must be an astronomer! :O

Eep - today (April 1st) is actually my 20th birthday - and I just got back home after immense celebratory goodness. Thankfully I live in a sane country where the legal age for smacking your brain cells against the wall is only 19 ;p. *Head spins* oh god, no matter how Irish you are, 2 pints of gin is always more than enough....
For any young'uns out there - hard liquor = very bad x_x. Stay away, far away.

*Goes into Siege Mode*
Are you sure you were born today? Show us your mother and prove it. If you have a valid proof of mother, then "Happy B-Day". If not and you're another clone, then "Happy Growth-Scraping Day".
And welcome to non-lurkerhood. As you can tell, it's fun.
(Starcraft and Futurama references, man it doesn't get old)

Many people watch silly Family Guy, but Futarama is just so chock full of animated goodness.
Any one else around here a hockey fan? To see my precious Oilers fall so far after only one year, for shame, for shame.
And if I'm any sort of animal, it's definately a cat. I'm not sure if cats can burrow, but if they can they'd definately look cute doing so. And if they can't, they'd look even cuter trying ;p. I sincerely hope that you would not whack-a-cat!

Happy birthday! I guess you were a trick for the day, right?

Funny, I was out last night celebrating a cousins' 21st birthday with her. Last night was good for celebrating.
