There's a blizzard out there! My county in Ohio, Licking County, has declared a level 1 snow energency, and I had the day off from work all day. Now, I'll have to go to work in the morning, unless we are upgraded to level 3. The running joke in Ohio is "If you don't like the weather in Ohio, wait 5 minutes; it will change."

LOL! That's funny Kris, I mean the running joke not the fact that there is a Blizzard in your county. I hope everything is okay for you and that you are okay.

That was the same running gag as we had in my college town, which was up by Lake Erie.... Yup, lake-effect weather. I hope your hatches are battened down and everything is secure and safe.

You should've been in Oklahoma in 2007. I missed school for a solid week. Lost power for several hours. Not as bad as some others, who lost power for two WEEKS.
And it's more like three minuets here.

The joke is almost something a friend once said to me about Florida, except hurricanes were mentioned.

They declared a level 2 snow emergency and I went to work as required. Then around 10:30AM, my manager sent me home, as we were pretty slow; there were not too many customers, and I heard they eventually closed the store early, as the weather became snowy. I'm off tommorrow, and have to work Friday afternoon. I also had Bowling league night cancelled to to incliment weather. I am safe and warm, and have plenty of food and drink...

We had a snowstorm over here, in Yorkshire, UK.
It melted the next day....then froze again.
I don't like snow, but I hate ice even more....
When will it be summer and raining again?
