The Prodigal Loaf

I'm back.

Some of you may ask why I had the sudden hiatus. It was a combination of things, involving school, the update of a favorite online game, and catching up on movies and such.

But mostly, I burned myself out again. I feel that you guys shouldn't be deprived of my wondrous wit and charisma (subtle sarcasm here) simply because I got tired of typing on my keyboard. I just need to learn pacing, something which I'm still learning in other facets of my life. What does this mean?

As far as the boards are concerned, not much. I'm going to pick up everything where I left off (after some research and hefty backreading...) and I'll post on a regular basis. Now, that basis is going to be a little slower than before, since I don't have gobs of time anymore. Also, I'll be scarce to nonexistent on IRC. Leaning towards the latter. As much as I enjoy bs'ing with you guys, it just takes away too much time I need for important things. Like hygiene and sleep.

Oh, and as a consolation prize, my never-ending writer's block for Angel Tease has ended. I wanna keep chapters episodic to keep things short and sweet, but I know where I want to go with the whole thing. As for my "The Swimmer" story, that's just going to have to die off. I was never sure where to take it, and I'm pretty sure where I was leaning was gonna end up pretty hackneyed and cliche. There are other troublesome bubbles in my brain that will be attended to instead.

Anyways, I appreciate all your patience in my off and on appearances here. Please feel free to welcome me back with torches and pitchforks.

Tsk tsk. Someone burned the breadman. What is this world coming to...?

But yeah, welcome back, Muffin. We like you enough not to stick you with pitchforks, and we prefer our muffins light, fluffy, and golden-brown, not torched.
