What role would you have?

What makes someone a "true-blooded" teacher? I am wondering since being a teacher, if I could be one, would have been one of my few professions of interest. :O

I guess someone that really desires to help people. Another way to help people is to help them learn more more about them selfs or learn a subject.

I've know some good teachers and some really rotten ones. It's just the personal that I think makes a "true-blooded" teacher anyhow. Oh and that stupid teaching degree. I'm still working on that too. ^^;

*Real* teachers live to enlighten others and need not necessarily work as a teacher. It could be the old handyman that goes around and teaches people how to fix their own stuff, or people who volunteer to be Big Brothers and Big Sisters, or a philosopher who tries to get people to think and not recite facts or whatever.

Anyone who feels it is their duty to teach the hungry peoples of the world how to fish so they never go hungry again.


Me, I would be the Explorer. Why? Because I would like to venture forth into the unknown in order to try all the options listed. That's who I am.
