Warning:video game freak posting, opinions may differ from your own.
If you're looking to game, as of _now_, I would suggest 360, it's got a much wider selection of available games, basically one or two that are supposed to be pretty darn good every month starting August, and not just shooters either.
There's Bioshock, Blue Dragon, Halo3, (of course), Splinter cell:conviction, Mass Effect, Assassin's creed, etc...
If you wait about another 6 months or so, PS3 will get some good exclusives like MGS4 and Heavenly Sword, etc...., and the price drop is nice, I'll probably be picking one up soon just because I've had every system since the PS1, but right now, there's still not much variety of games that are really considered console definers, and if you don't have time for a lot of Ps2 rpg's, you're going to find yourself with a bit limited selection.
Now, the Wii....don't get me wrong, I love Twilight Princess to death, but there aren't any other _killer_ games out now that I can think of. MP3:corruption will be good, as will SSBB and Fire Emblem if you like that series, and the wiimote is rather fun to use.....and I suppose Pokemon battle revolution as well...but unless you've got a lot of Gamecube games, I'd consider waiting as well. By 08, we'll see how good Galaxy is.
But the 360's online plan is so much better than either of the other two...well, I haven't actually tested Ps3's, but I have several online friends that I trust who say thusly.....that if you plan on playing online with friends, go 360....though I'm not sure I would advise the "leet" version.
