As we speak I am working on something which will take me... about four hours of game playing.
I am going to breed rabbits. XD
I am going to breed a couple of Buneary until I get one with adamant nature at level one.
Then I am going to find a nice big long strech and bike up and down until its happiness is maxed. Then I will have a level two Lopunny of the correct nature.
Why I am doing this?
Damned if I know... but the end result will be a bunny that kicks ass.
I did the same thing for my Wigglytuff... used a moon stone on it after I got the right nature. Its stats now are like... whoa.
Is this sad?

Huzzah! Only one hour down the tubes and I managed to get a female bunneary with adamant nature at level one!
Now... since the cute sucker only evolves when it is "happy" I have to take it on a jog... probably for another hour.
See, there is this WONDERFUL thing called "happiness value." It goes from 0 to 220. Most pokemon you catch start at base 70 happiness. Lucky me, breeding pokemon starts them at 120! Since I am their "momma." XD
Now... bunneary evolves when its happiness stat whacks 220 and it levels. Now... to raise happiness you can do a few things...
1. Gaining a level (+2)
2. Walking 256 steps (+1)
3. Stat modifiers (+2)
4. Using Soothe Bell (+1 for each other positive event)
5. Massage in Veilstone City by girl in house nearest to Veilstone Gym (+3)
6. Massage at Ribbon Syndicate in Resort Area
BAD NEWS
Now... the evolved bunneary gains more stats per level than not evolved... so I aint going to waste an hour of breeding by levelling up in its weakened state... so #1 is out.
#3 I have no idea what that is... though something tells me it has something to do with X attack, Guard Spec, or maybe Iron and Protein stat yummy things...
#6 I aint even close to... so no resort massages for my poor bunny.
GOOD NEWS
Thank god I HAVE a soothe bell... so that will make this substantially faster.
I also know where that chick in Veilstone is... but she only massages once per day. *looks at clock* Oh... its past midnight. Perfect!
I also have some HP up... which I will use for the heck of it even if it dosent boost happiness.
WORSE NEWS
This means that once I have done all I can... I am going back to bikeing in circles for another hour while I get up the steps to max happiness at 220.
Now... tell me THAT isnt sad?

I've done similar tedious things in other games for no real reason other then to say i did that. but then at times like this I can't recall one of those tasks >.> so it was really all for nothing XD

Hehehe... I got it. It took me from... 11PM I started breeding... I got enough happiness to evolve buneary at 2AM. So thats three hours to craft the perfect bunny pokemon.
Some interesting developments.
I found out, by finding the soothe bell after evolveing buneary and going to level it, that I DIDNT have the soothe bell. I had the shell bell. XD
So I spent 2 hours running around like an idiot when I could have spent 1 hour running around like an idiot. The +1 every 250 turns into +2 every 250 if you have the soothe bell... so I could have cut that time in half. >.<
Well... now I know.
Also I found out that Protein, Iron, HP up, and stat bonuses like that raise happiness. Unfortunatley... they cost a FREAKING MINT. And at level one, the EV is so low that it actually wont gain anything. So that was out. XD
ANYWAYS now my Lopunny is level 24... and the convenient thing was at 13 it learned Return... an attack that gains power the more the pokemon likes you. My little bunny REALLY likes me. ^_^ Return does an INSANE amount of damage now.
Okay I will try to end my pokerant. I am just happy to look BACK on something like that... and to have a personally crafted bunny to show for it. I will definetly take this all the way to the top. Beware Pokemon League! I have a bunny rabbit!!

My Lopunny is now 36... I am trying to get her to 40 so I can compare her stats to those of the OTHER Lopunny I had. She started at 20... but apparently the Daycare lady gots skillz when it comes to raising pokemon. @_@
