We register ourselves at PG-13. Naturally, we can't stop you if you want to make a room-filled with sex, and frankly I don't anticipate that any of you will.. but we won't condone it being associated with the board or site.

I dont think anybody really has a problem with "OMG! PG-13! >.<"

I haven't seen many people who want to turn MSF into a sex-oriented style chatroom (ok.. there are times when people go way too far with their making out and turning into horny-teenager like people who want all to get it on right there on the living room floor so to speak)

I do however see people who have problems with annoyances, lack of active mods, lack of RP, lack of good TFage, godmodding, annoyances...


I think problems mostly span from, not meaning to sound offensive here..

people getting on other people's nerves sometimes purposely, said people getting complained about CONSTANTLY... and the people who complain about the annoyances getting told to STFU (in more or less words) about it by the people in charge..

or how things like intelligent (yet sometimes heated) conversations can be muted and told to be moved elsewhere.. while things that obviously upset people like absurb randomness (even more random than alot of people in #MSF are used to) can be ignored or joined in on by the people in charge, nobody asked to move, nothing done about the numerous people who get upset about the situation..

even though alot more people liked the intelligent conversation over the absurdly random shout-fest over who had the brightest shade of red hair that totally took over the channel and made people go 'ugh' and leave.. the conversation is still the one that is told to stop or be moved..

or how about the lack of active mods that people actually feel they can confide in? that people actually wanna go to with their problems and be heard out and not simply 'listened to' and nothing get done about their problem..

Active Mods that aren't afraid to slap their friends in the face with a perverbial steel glove when they get out of line, or that dont jump at the chance to punish people they cant stand?

Mods that do more than just go 'mute' stop it 'unmute' 'AFK'...

though yeah it's nice to have people to talk to... mod's are people with real lives... though there in charge they really shouldn't need the job of personal psycologist.... honestly on other irc channels if i see the mods speak once of a week it's alot. seriously the people in msf make it out to be that being a mod is like a RL job rather then a irc room which they are just helping out at.


honestly i pity the mod's at irc most of the time for having to deal with half of the bullshit that happens around here, i honesly would have just perm banned you all cause of the stupidty of half the arguments where people start getting emo about.

i think maybe what needs to happen is for the "randomness" to be taken down over time, probably like it developed. you cant make things happen instantaneously (SP?).

as people are starting to get worried about the irc i am starting to try to "calm down" and make it better for everyone, but to be honest, you cant beat a good bit of randomness, and randomness is normally what starts an RP or a TF.

Well Xia what makes sence to me is that those people might miss something be it a TF or part of the conversation. if they ignore someone they could miss out on a chance to be TFed.

For me it is because I want to see all sides of a conversation.

Well AI it used to be a balance between RPs and randomness. But recently it has become more of a repeating randomness sort of thing. Same people every day doing the same or very simular things. But you know hopefully things can balance again. And it can't be changed by one or two people but by everyone as a whole agreeing to try to be a bit more RPish, be a bit more acceptant of people. And trust me sometimes the things that happen there are so pointless and stupid that it pisses people off greatly. It isn't always easy to control that anger. Yes I have anger issues. But you know, I deal.

Yes.. Anger is a valid emotion.. *nods*

However other emotions besides anger come to mind when it comes to other people, admittedly Anger is what it appears like most of the time..

However sadness, disgust, boredom, uncaring, and alot of other 'not nice' emotions can also be described in greater abundance, its not always anger, in my opinion thats an 'emotion people like to use for excuses'... I can control my anger, admittedly there are SOME that get under my anger nerve and twist it til I explode. The point is its the other emotions that I have a hard time dealing with..

Uncaring is an emotion thats growing in #MSF, I notice it more each day.. and you cant except people who 'dont care' to come together to save the place that they 'dont care' about anymore..

admittedly, its just a chatroom but it used to be a great way to pass the time, aleve boredom, and to have fun in...

not something to look at and make dozens of complaints and arguments towards before going into 'lurk mode' to mope and angst and brood over.. where people complain like every other minute "im bored"..

and very little fun that isn't private secludded things to begin with.. "Hey! dont mess with me, im working on a project that no-one else will understand, that ive worked on in private for a few weeks now, that'll result in mine or my close knit friends fun and not anyone elses" *workworkwork* "STOP TALKING TO ME! Yes, I ramble.. but I see very little 'togetherness/fariness/unity/fun' happening anytime soon, as long as very little 'togetherness/fariness/unity/fun' is associated by other members by more than just... 1-3 line TFs because one person is bored, and the other person is male or boredom.. or whatever...

and as much as people go "Im bored" "Im bored" "booooooored" "....bored" "etc" I dont think very much 'togetherness' 'unity' or 'RP elements' exist that make people feel 'unbored' or.. 'caring' of the channel

Thats just my opinion of it anyway...
