I agree, Cow Bell Man. Clothes and makeup are superficial things (well, only most of the time for clothing), and whatever's interesting about boys are learned perceptions for the most part. I just don't dig any of them.

Neither do I, and I was born female! Well, I can discuss the quirky aspects of fashion design, but that's more of an artistic thing than anything else. I have no idea what's actually stylish, and really don't care. Make-up is an evil necessary for theatre and formal occasions, and I've never been into the whole "talk about boys" thing. I mean, I never saw the point. Feh.

And then there's the "talk about girls" thing on the guys end. For some reason, the guys don't get much consideration on their end, as far as culture and media goes. Of course, the focus tends to be different, whenever spoken about (although I'm sure all topics are about equally covered by percentage). I dunno. Sure, I'm a "guy", but I don't even find it interesting to talk about girls. I figure that, if I have a compliment for someone, I tell them. I don't see the fun in bragging about "having" someone, degrading someone with lustful words in private, and what-have-you.

Oh, and if I were a mod, I'd totally make this derail acceptable. XD
