A potentially dumb question

Last week, while youtubing, I saw ppl dancing in Otaku City, Japan. They were dancing to Melancholy of whateverthehellhernameis/a random popular show in Japan. (Sad but hilarious)
I also learned while websurfing that greek gods were players and Terisias got blinded by Zeus.

I stopped paying attention to Pokemon when I was 15, but it's still okay every once in a while. Might as well do what they're there for: Catch 'em.

I doubt that pokémon somehow appearing in reality will bestow the strange technology that is pokéballs upon us, so catching them would be quite a bit harder than it is in the shows and games. Too much work~
It'd also be quite difficult to ignore them. Those things are capable of causing a lot of trouble. I pick "Something different"
It's a bridge that'll only be crossed when we come to it. Good thing I doubt that bridge will ever be built in the first place.

I wouldn't kill them all, per se, but I would abuse them for their abilities. Who wouldn't want free irrigation from water types, free electricity from electric types, etc.? I mean, just think of the military uses of a hollowed out steel or rock type! Carapaces harder than diamond anyone?
And of course, I would have all the Mr. Mimes sent to France just before unleashing all the legendaries on it. For being French.

Eh, I refuse to fall prey to video game obsessive compulsive disorder.
I'd probably end up being a professor or researcher or something. Y'know sit back, remember a bunch of useless facts and let little kids send the monsters to you instead of doing all that thankless work.
