You may remember a poll like this one some time ago. But who can ignore the call for such an important question throughout each era? ;p

Subbed for me. Much too often my ears cry out in agony when I hear English voice actors.

It depends, for me. Sometimes dubbed, other times subbed. I tend to often simply gravitate towards whatever language I saw it in first, when you get right down to it.

Dubbed. I can't stand looking at the bottom of the screen to see what's being said, because then I've probably missed something cool, and I don't like pausing or rewinding just to catch it all. I can always turn the volume up, anyway, if I can't hear it.

Hay-chan:

It may just depend on how well someone can see something that's not in their direct line of sight. I don't miss a thing when I read. Though I'm sure that some experience/practice helped me to watch subs without an inconvenience. The only problem is when a subtitle is gone before I can finish reading it, but that's only when there's two separate conversations are going and each of them aren't short... ;/

If I can find it dubbed and it isn't complete and total gorilla excrement, I'll always prefer dubs over subs.

Depends on the VAs, but as the majority of what I've watched recently is fansubbed, subs are fine for me.

Subbed all da' way. I trust those translations more than I trust the publishers. Don't really know why. Also, alot of stuff just sounds cooler in the original Japanese.

I'll say right now I just watch it any dang way I can, it matters not one whit to me. Still I would just as soon as watch it dubbed in English as to watch a sub simply because I tend to move around a lot while watching stuff. I kinda have to stay still if its got subtitles lest I miss something so no running to get a drink or some food while the show is on.

it depends what mood I'm in. If I just can't be bothered to read subs then I'll watch the dub....or if I cant find the subbed. Actually I like a dubbed version, as long as its good and doesn't sound like half of it is done by microsoft sam or the 4-kids team.
