Yup, I haven't been around long enough to know about this either. Come to think of it, I only know of a select group of veteran MSFers. What happened to the MSF generation above me and Hay? You didn't eat them, did you Nikkou? ^_^

I'm not even sure what generation is above yours. Or even when yours starts. But many of the oldest MSFers had already begun to slip away by the time I came to MSF, some taking longer than others to officially disappear. Although some of them poke in on rare occasions, while some others hardly do more than lurk.

I don't know if I played any role in the whole scheme of things, but it's possible. At least I can't say that I've done anything to foster positive effects, anyway.

Aw, I'm sure that the only affects that you've had are positive. Probably the main reason why some of them still visit around here. XD

I seriously doubt anyone sticks around because I'm here. I have a terrible tendency to try and connect with people and then leave them hanging. I'm not very good with the whole friendship thing and social stuff, so I'm more or less a consistently random presence around the board and a completely random visitor of IRC.

You say that you have a random presence on the boards, but I'd say that having about 9000 posts is a pretty consistent presence. XP

I said it that way because I don't have anything all that substantial to tether me here. I'm just waiting for when I'm completely sure that I'm not needed (i.e. finding someone else to do what I'm doing right now, if not more), but I also don't want to just up and drop things. That's not exactly the polite thing to do and all that. However, the last time I asked for a replacement I didn't get a response, so... Here I am. Biding my time. Which I seem to have a large supply of. And yet I can't make the most of it. ;/

In the end I'm just a lost soul without an origin. I don't know why I'm here, much less why anyone else would want me to be here. But, like I keep saying, you all are the ones that are crazy, not me. But does anyone listen? NooOOoo; of course not. For all that anyone knows, I could be the anti-Christ. O.o;

Well, I'm pretty sure that your not the anti-Christ. I'm confident that your just Nikkou. ^_^
And as far as all that stuff goes, I personally respect ya' for what ya' have done on the board and otherwise and I'm happy that you do what you do. For what its worth, there are very few in this forum who I hold in as high regard as you.

But I guess I can't blame you for not remembering. Even when I first came here you were around sparingly, and we didn't get to interact much. Before the last couple of days, the last time we interacted was probably over a year ago, maybe two, when I used "clicky-clicky" for a link, like you had done previous, because I thought it was cute. And I think Akemi/Nina tossed a yellow flag at me for it while you expressed something along the lines of being okay with it.

It's funny what I have a memory for. I wish I had a memory for other things worth remembering. ;/

No, that's because I don't want to go "Momoko ponders, Momoko says, Momoko likes pie" unless I go RPing or in character or something, I dunno. It does take a lot of effort to do that, and it does make others who haven't read that posting (or even those who do) get all confused and have to get a translator, you know.

But seriously, memories have an odd way of coming up. Some memories you want to remember don't come up, or become really fuzzy, while other minute details or memories you don't WANT to know stick in your brain forever.

There are a bunch of the older generation who come back every so often. Like Momoko and I. Though she's a generation that came before mine.

What was your name before you were Momoko? Wasn't it, "Stephanie, Lady of Pinkness?"

Yes, although I wanted to change the name at the time because it reminded me of someone else and I didn't want to be logging in and calling myself after the same person.
