Exams?

Postby Helel » Thu Apr 17, 2008 6:00 pm

So, it's getting to that point of the year.

Professors squeeze as much gray matter from students' squirming bodies as possible, by means of various gruesome procedures known as Final Exams.

So, here's the verbage: How many exams will you suffer through at the end of the spring? :O

I am SO done with school. Last time I was, though, it was not so much exam work as it was a ton of assignments and big projects due at the end of the spring while all the other suckers, I mean students, head for exams. The projects included research papers and presentations, though, and were pretty hefty and required LOTS of time to do. Much more grating than cramming for a week all the info for an annoying exam.

At least, that's how I went through it.

Well, actually my exams are finished and have been for a while. We just started the new term.

For those wondering, making and grading some 160 tests isn't any more fun that taking them.

So, I'm suffering through five exams in two weeks.

And two presentations. And a paper. Next week.

17 credit hours stink. A lot. XD

And this is where I come in and mock you.

A few more months will mark my ninth year since dropping out of high school and thus foregoing such silly things.

Ha!

I don't have a life, but eh... No one's life would be complete without someone like me around, so it's not a complete waste. :P

Yes, I'm also inclined to find the humor in mocking someone by outlining their progress against my congress. That's not the sort of thing that you see every day. Well, unless you come to MSF every day, that is. :P

But, seriously... With all that work you better hope that you'll actually have a use for most of it afterward. I mean, I didn't have a use for most of what I learned in primary school, so I've forgotten most of it. I could have wasted my time doing better things... Like playing more video games. ;/

I'll likely find a job turning people into cyborgs, curing cancer and HIV, and so forth. So yeah, the opportunities are out there for me.

I have an anthropology Exam coming up this Wednesday with a project due on the same day O_o. Then I have a bunch of other exams following that one. If someone is wanting my PS2 speak now or forever hold your peace because I might not live long enough to modify my Will.
