Oh, look! A fun, multiple-choice poll! Who woulda thought!? :O

And, yes, there's thirteen listed instead of twelve. Both Hestia and Dionysus assumed the same "place", although they differed greatly between each other, so you have a choice between the first (and last; it's an inside joke ;p), Hestia, or the one that replaced her later on, Dionysus.

Ares, 'cuz he's like a loose cannon, and they're fun.
Athena, 'cuz she's hot.
Zeus, 'cuz if I don't pick him, he'll zap me to death.

Ta-da.

Wouldn't they all zap you to death if you didn't pick them? Greek gods aren't exactly known for being level-headed.

Oh, the worst that could happen with the others is a huge war that kills many people on each side that was started by a beautiful woman. That doesn't affect me directly, so long as I don't have to fight.

And yet, you'd probably want to, if it were a woman like Helen that basically started the war. She's just that GOOD.

She must have been Batman in disguise. ;p

Oh, yeah... I knew I was forgetting something. Duh.

I choseth:

Athena: a virgin goddess with a mind like a man's. The reason's obvious. ;p

Artemis: another virgin goddess, and one who has many contradictions. Right up my alley.

Hestia: yet another virgin goddess, and my favorite. To go into details would require many paragraphs, so... Not in the mood for something like that right now.

Ultimately there's an obvious trend concerning virginity, and it does play a significant role in whom I pick. If I could have chosen any other number of deities from the Greek pantheon, a few other virgin goddesses would have joined the list above. Although there are one or two that I like, that aren't virgin, technically speaking.
