It really is quite troubling but every time I see something like this, I never am very surprised. It has happened plenty of times throughout history to people it places of power and the current media we have in america just seems to magnify the situation by exposing and spreading it more. Makes me wonder if it is just human nature... The thing that worries the most about this is that for every one of these that is revealed, there are probably tons more better at hiding it.

To the hardened hearts of cynics,
those that slap their knees with mirth,
This sort of news takes all that space
and fills it all with no worth.

To put it another way, "Cynics find worthless news funny."

Define "worthless." I wonder why it doesn't make many other people wonder why they elect people that will betray their values. A reflection of the population at large, that they don't want to look at?

What's the point of defining something that's just going to define itself?
"The views and opinions of Curtis Wildcat do not necessarily match up with the views of this station. If we think it's newsworthy, we will report it."
...And sometimes, even if it isn't newsworthy.
"Do you have a problem with what the public needs to know?"
'Needs to know'? That's a rather broad statement...
"...You have forced us to use our secret weapon. You shall appear on television tonight... ...on the O'Reilly Factor!"
NOOOOOOO!
