Sleep makes illness worse

I was wondering if anyone else felt worse after getting some sleep, when they're sick or becoming sick: because I do. I can't stand it. I'm assuming that rest is supposed to be beneficial, but it appears to make me more prone to whatever's going around. I make progress in recovering while I'm awake, but sleeping takes me a step back and I have to recover from that during the next day. It's really annoying. The only good thing is that it usually doesn't take long to undo it, once I'm awake. But still. ;/

I never really noticed any difference, but then I don't nap much when I'm sick. Or at all, really.

When it's an overnight thing though, I usually feel better, but that's because it's had time to go through my system and have its butt kicked by my epic immune system. 8)

I guess I'll go with the third one.

I tend to sleep a lot when I get sick and I usually get well pretty quickly as a result.
