I always hated the instant stuff, myself. I prefer fast.

Either way works for me. It depends on the context, the perception, and the description of the transformation. I mean, I can enjoy a story where a lady bumps her noggin and, when she wakes up, believes that she had been a man. That is, if her perception and description of the changes (that "he" thought had occurred) were good enough, and if the context is interesting enough.

Yes, I agree with you, Nikkou. I'd appreciate any of the three, if it was descriptive enough, and the person doesn't just...'blink into form,' description-wise.

I prefer medium to slow, a well desribed change. The better the tranformation is told the better the tranformation ^^
But I consider slow like and medium more how you describe fast, and fast as less and quicker just almost instantlious

I would prefer if it was fast. Not to fast where I wouldn't feel it but not to slow to be annoying,

The 'slow' changes is not something I've seen done really well outside of Eiren's Game Shop RPG, but is a good idea. Minutes/Seconds is fast enough to give good description and action. Instant can be described well, but leads to a lack of action....

Slow for me, like people have said, the better described the TF is, the better the TF is

I generally prefer medium. Fast enough to keep the story flowing, but slow enough to provide details. I probably like insta-zaps the least.

I 'spose it depends on the situation. But I think medium is a nice comfy speed. :3

I preferr slow, but for it to more or less happen all at once, as in not to take place over more than one day, except in particular circumstances, because depending on an RP the person providing the circumstances can be very creative and make it more interesting and then I could enjoy it otherwise from my prefrence ^^

Gosh...I think I'm the ONLY one here who'd prefer the instant zappage over the idea of minutes, hours, or even days of TFing. Wow.
I guess that's just me though... get it over with already so I can have fun with it LOL!!

It really depends on the circumstances, and if an instant ka-zap is all that was on offer IRL, I'd take it despite my misgivings ^^

I hate it when it is something like, "And he looked down and saw that he was now a girl for some reason," I like alot of detail, and I prefer it if it is moving semi fast, like the Aimlessly Eternal (I think that's what it's called) story, where it gave a very descriptive change for several of the body parts, but didn't take too long in the story. And just a side-note, I also like it if it was unwanted by the one whio was TFed, and if the mental state of the victim hasn't changed.

Well, generally I think I agree with Xiao on this matter...

anything other then poof/instant... don't really have a preference with speed ... just have a dislike for the poof effect.
