So me and Duck were talking, and I thought it might be a cool idea to do one of these a week. Why? Just cause I love comics.

As much as i dislike batman, he wins.

Wolverine, claws down. I don't know why they'd fight, but I'm sure that the circumstances would be in Wolverines's favor as well. (It's not like Batman knows him, either in an intellectual or criminal background sense, so it's not like he can take advantage of things right off. Wolverine, if wanting to fight Batman, will have the element of surprise. Plus, he's stronger and faster, and has better senses. Batman can try his plethora of gadgets, but his best bet is giving Wolverine the gas. Even then, Batman may be surprised when Wolverine recovers quickly.)

For all of batmans technology wolverine just has more raw strength, aggressing and just plain fighting ability. And can quickly regenerate what ever the bat throws at him.

Ok guys... just think like this. Batman would figure out where to hit wolvie so his healin factor doesn't heal it right. Not only that, Bats fights a lot smarter.

Wolvies good, Bats is better.

First of all, how can he make it so he can't heal right? Short of actually having technology that can mute mutant abilities, I don't see how he can. Plus, if we're talking about one fight, then Wolverine would win, in the case that Batman would have to run away to figure out how to take down Wolverine because of his healing factor. Batman wouldn't have anything in his utility belt, short of knockout gas, that could take down Wolverine. But Wolverine wold likely recover from unconsciousness before Batman can put him in the sort of containment that'd hold him.

Gas wouldn't work, wolvies healin factor makes it too hard for that to be viable. But, if Bats say, dislocates wolvies knees keepin him pinned. Wolvie will be in a world of pain.

Not only that, wolvies rage makes him less capable. He'd make more mistakes than needed to take bats.

And this isn't a fight to the death or nothin. Just who'd win.

Aye. If Batman had a chance to plan and prepare, he'd probably be able to take Wolverine, in my opinion--but in an initial encounter, Wolverine would almost certainly be victorius.

To Ducky:

Pain wouldn't stop Wolverine. I've seen him continue fighting in worse condition than that. Plus, I doubt Batman would have the strength to keep him pinned. Pinning is a bad way to determine a winner, especially when you consider the other possible comic book characters we're likely to see in these polls.

And, rage or not, Wolverine's not stupid. I know that batman would generally take less initiative and use tactics to put Wolverine's actions against him. But Wolverine would see that and change tactics to counter it. He's not a complete animal, after all.

Not sayin he's not nekkid one.

Belive me, I read enough X men for like everyone, but this is it. The injuries Batman could give (like i put up earlier) would hinder wolvies movement. And the more pain he gets, the more savage and less thinking he gets.

After a while batman would do enough damage to make wolvie go out. This isn't an easy fight, but one that Bat's would win eventually.

If you say so. But once Wolverine gets mad enough, he'll be aiming to kill with his claws. Wolverine has a lot more stamina than Batman does, and Batman will only be able to outmaneuver Wolverine for so long, to keep out of reach of his claws. By then, he'll be more focused on avoiding than handicapping, and Wolverine would recover fully. Batman sushi. :3

True, but, Batman can take Superman. He's a master stratigist, and a master martial artist.

While wolvie is good, Batman would basically keep him on his toes. plotting and planning until wovlies down.

I imagine Batman would end it right off with like...a freezing batarang or something.

Superman can go up to Batman and flick his head off of his shoulders with his pinkie finger before he can blink... And Batman can "take" Superman? Is there something that I missed there? <.<;

And how does a freezing batarang work? XD Does it burst and send out vapor nitrogen? O.o

He keeps kryptonite with him at all times.
