Panoramic Transformation

Postby Mitera Nikkou » Sat Sep 24, 2005 12:21 am

(Ah, finally... I wanted to start this late last year, actually. ^_^; But, anywhatways... This thread will be for depositing stories consisting, mainly, of or around transformations. Rather than write a whole story, here, for whatever reason, you can practice your art of transformation and show it off/share. But I doubt anyone will make any use of this... Ah, well.)

Now, before I begin to write... I have Duckaroo Bonzai's permission to cast him as the transformee. Also, what I'm going to attempt is something I haven't done before: I haven't done second-person before, and neither have I tried something so... Natural? Not sure how to define it. Anyway, after a few hours after finishing what I'm writing here, I should be done with what I'm writing down below. XD

Code: Select all
Step after cautious step under a canopy of trees, you climb an old and worn stairway that led to the top of a hill deep within the forest. The air, while warm, felt a little cool to you as your limbs moved unaccompanied by attire and decor. Your only real assurance of security lie within Nikkou, whom you were following after, and whom was likewise dressed in nothing. However, the crickets, frogs and other forest dwellers had their own calming effect as well, as they chirped, croaked, and otherwise made a ruckus.

Soon, you step into the moonlight that poured into a clearing at the apex of the hill, and you look up to take a glance at the glaring fullness of the moon. You thought that it looked especially bright tonight, but you reasoned that it was probably due to the location being far from city lights and, also, because it was quite a clear night.

Further thoughts about the moon you cast aside when you noticed Nikkou turning around to face you. You were silent as she divulged a slight smile, and you couldn't really be sure if she were about to tease you or if it were a genuine smile of fondness. Either way, after remaining silent since the beginning of the trek, she seemed ready to tell you something.

     "So, Duckie-poo... Are you ready?"

You give her a nod in the affirmative.

"You bet, Nikkou." You reply. "I'm Duck, after all."

Giving you a raspberry in response, she motions to the center of the clearing, where you found nothing spectacular or ultimately different with the rest of the setting upon first glance.

"If you could be a dear, could you stand right over there?"

"Sure thing." You acquiesce, and within a few steps you were where she had indicated.

It wasn't until part-way there that you took more notice of the grass that covered the hill, for, once you had left the landing of the stairs, your feet were greeted by grass that was quite plush. In fact, the grass was a bit wet, no doubt due to dew, and you couldn't help wriggling your toes a bit once you had found your place to stand.

"Right here?" You asked, making sure if your position was right.

"Yes; perfect." She replied, then instructed: "It is important that you remain there. But when it comes time for you to move... You'll know."

"Alrighty, then." You didn't really understand that last bit, but you believed that she knew what she was doing; or, at least, you hoped that she did.

With a little skip in her step, you watched her turn away from you and find a measured distance from where you now stood, whereupon she seemed to take a moment to relax and concentrate. At least that was your guess, seeing as her back was turned to you.

You didn't have long to wait until what she had in mind became a little more clear to you, as she began to move to the side in a seemingly-choreographed motion before, deliberately, flowing into another. While you knew that she was going to transform you, you never knew exactly how nor what would result from it.

Before you could really consider any more about that, you noticed that, instead of moving to the side, you realized that she was actually going to move around you. And unless your eyes were deceiving you, she seemed to be... Dancing. It hadn't clicked at first, as her movements were slow and minimum, and if anything might have appeared to have been steps for a Hula dance.

But that couldn't be it... Even as you watched, you could tell that, even after only a few feet from her starting position, that her movements had changed to better suit the slightly faster pace you now noticed her making. It seemed so indistinguishable, the change of pace of her movements, but you somehow noticed. Actually, it was beginning to become a challenge to really concentrate on anything else, so maybe it wasn't all that much of an impossibility.

Regardless, you were enraptured. You slowly became captivated by her every movement, and for what reason you couldn't begin to fathom. Her dancing, if that was what it was, was part of the transformation; or, at least, that's what you assumed. How else could it be so... Mystical? Yes... Yes! Mystical! Surely what you were witnessing was part of the transformation! She was silly and unpredictable at times, but you were sure that she wasn't pulling anything over you at this precise moment.

No, certainly not... Never before have you seen such grace and poise, such a vision of completeness within and among her surroundings. Her nudity, while natural, seemed even more so now than ever; even you felt as if there was something inviting about being nude, so far away from any private room among civilization as you were. Gone was any sign of her crudeness and clumsiness, and in its place you gazed upon something so refined, so pure, so enlivening...

So absorbed were you that, by the time that she had made her first revolution, you were barely able to notice that the clearing was as circular as her path around you. All that you consciously noticed, were the mellifluous movements of her body as one limb and then another shone in the moonlight before eventually ducking back into the shade created by her presence, which in due time would show itself again.

Raptly, you caught sight of a hand flicking, a wrist turning over, and an elbow swaying. Her feet did not always carry her across the ground, as sometimes they were found arching over her head whilst her hands danced upon the soft grass. It seemed as if her whole body was composed of different instruments, and it was as if they had all joined in a symphony. And as you watched, entranced and in awe, you were exhilirated: only because you felt an impulse to join her and dance as she was, to somehow experience something that, amazingly, seemed so fulfilling to you.

And so it came as no surprise when she, upon the ball of one foot, twirled out of the perfect circle that she had danced on. It was then that you realized just what she had done, once she had winnowed herself out of her routine without disturbing her prior motions: she had created a vortex of energy around you, the nature of which you were not certain of. But now you noticed it... You could not see it, but you felt it, that almost imperceptable vibration that clouds the senses. Somehow, it also made it impossible to hear the creatures of the forest.

Then, suddenly, the hairs on your body rose up. Intuitively, you looked up, but didn't have enough time to gasp in surprise as transparent, multicolored, globular energies swirled just inside the vortex of energy, starting from the top and quickly dipping to the center as they made tighter spirals. Being in the center, you were quickly assaulted by hot and cold sensations wherever they entered your body, and it seemed from every direction in the forest that they came.

But when it was over, you felt alive... More alive than ever, for a lack of a better term. Rather than before, where you only really felt connected with yourself, you now felt as if the very forest, and its inhabitants, were a part of you, too. Never have you felt so invigorated, so at peace, and suddenly cherishing something in a way that you had never done before, that before would never had made sense.

The forest was alive... You could feel it. In the air, in the ground, in and among the trees... You could feel its unconditional love, and you, being a stranger, felt overwhelmed but at the same time returned the gesture, sensing how to do it rather than knowing consciously the way to go about it.

That wasn't enough, however. When you looked over toward where she was standing, with an encouraging smile already waiting for you, you knew that she was aware of the realization that had come to visit you: the transformation had only just begun. You had to initiate the rest of the transformation to truly become connected to the new world that you could now only perceive a glimpse of, that of which had overwhlemed you so.

And no sooner had you realized, that you began to resolutely step up to the edge of the energy vortex, where, while still not being able to see it, you could feel the intricate flow of it. But you didn't need to know nor feel any more than that, and so you stepped into the vortex and you became immersed in it while allowing it to carry you along so as to not disrupt its beautifully-crafted whisps of dancing energy.

You closed your eyes... And danced. Your moves matched hers at her fastest pace, as you twirled, flipped, dipped and moved wherever the energy whisps flowed, guiding you, your body being akin to fingers in a music box as the cylinder spun not so much unlike how the vortex did. And with every movement, you could recall how she had made them, and soon decided to emulate with the help of the vortex that she had created.

As soon as you took it upon yourself to follow the flow and dance with the energy, something changed... Something grew and something else lessened: immediately, the energy acted more as a guide, as it lessened whilst the dance progressed; during which time your new perception blossomed, more things became clear, and you could begin to sense more than the company of a certain nudist.

Furthermore, you felt changes in your body and, in your mind's eye, you could see your body glistening in the moonlight, becoming more diminutive, more slim and curvaceous, becoming more pronounced in some areas while in others your form took on a less conspicuous development. But in time some physical sensations in particular made themselves known, as your unrestrained breasts moved freely and your hair shortened so as to sweep along your shoulders. And how could you forget about that swinger of a dancer that now only gyrated with the movements of your pelvis?

Despite curiosity, you were lost in the dance. The energy of the vortex continued to guide less and less while your movements became more and more deliberate; and as you absorbed the energy, your mind and body changed: your body reflecting the nature of a world becoming ever-closer to being completely accessible while your mind was becoming the key that would sense it.

Your dancing slowed, you were filled with anticipation, the energy was almost gone, and you were eager to see what changes the transformation had in store for you. But you carried on and you danced, envisioning yourself as carrying the same grace and poise as the dancer that had created the vortex, knowing that, at the very least, your body now flowed similarly to her own in form; of course, not any form related to dancing.

Soon, the vortex disappated, and you resurfaced from the dance. You kept your eyes closed, to bask in the glow of the world around you, the racing of your heart, and the cool air against your new skin that was now moistened with perspiration. You've never felt so alive and bursting with joy, but surely it couldn't have been from living in two worlds at once... No, you knew that there was more to it, but not in any words could you begin to describe it. The new perspective, that you found yourself embracing, worked on an intuitive basis, on a sensory and emotional level.

As soon as a hand rested upon your shoulder, you opened your eyes and greeted whom you expected to see with a gracious smile: Nikkou.

     "How're you feeling?" She inquired.

"Too good." Was your reply, before wryly adding: "I must be dreaming."

And to some, looking at your transformed body might have had many wondering if they were dreaming. But you are already quite familiar with transformations, so that wasn't quite what was unreal.

Taking your arm, she began to guide you out of the clearing and into the forest, to take you where you could now see many other figures waiting in the dark. You didn't have to see them, for you could feel who they all were... To some extent they, and now you, carried a tiny bit of the others inside, and in that way you were all related and could thus communicate with the heart. At the moment, they wanted to play... And you were almost overwhelmed into join them, not that having some fun was a bad idea or anything.

"No dreaming for you." She replied, grinning. "For the time being you have initiated yourself as one of our new sisters, and as such we're all going to celebrate with many a game this night."

Even before she told you, you could tell. You were already brimming with excitement and, without making any conscious decision, you asserted yourself as the predator. Grinning, you watched as Nikkou and the others fled, squealing and laughing as they put distance between themselves and you. And, with a joyous heart and a visage of mirth, you dashed into the forest, winding around trees as fast as you could, streams of moonlight through the leaves your only illumination... Not that you needed it.

Hmmmm... Took me three hours... I probably made alot of mistakes, such as with tense, but I'll go over it when I'm in a better frame of mind... I should have tackled this ta a better time, but I've been procrastinating this long enough, I think. @_@;

At any rate, I hope you enjoyed. XD

Actually, I wanted to say that the tense was overall good. There were a few moments of awkwardness, but that's to be expected in a first draft, especially if it's experimental. Which I would definitely categorize this as, given said tense. It's rare, but you managed it well. In fact, you managed to evoke a very sensory- nay, even sunsual, for lack of a better term- experience. It had a very tumbling freeform feeling to it, as though you were really watching all these movements. Overall, I enjoyed this very much. Oh, and why am I not surprised that you found a way to include nekkidness? ;) There were certain moments that were just entirely Nikkou, like blowing the raspberry. No one else would do that, in this instance. ;) But hey, it gave the characters a bit of reality and personality. I'd say the ceremony had an almost spiritual significance for those involved. Is that the mood you were going for, or is it the ex-English major being too analytical? I'm curious.

Spiritual? Hmmmm... Not sure that's the word to describe it, anyway. I was aiming for something that, while seemingly unreal, was really, all in all, down to Earth. There are many connotations that I tossed in there, a bit of a bad habit of mine... It kind of makes the story a bit longer than it looks if you care to dig for them. Overall, I tried to create an equal mix of cursory perception on the physical level and a perusal of the heart.

But I'm aware of alot of things that I left out or sacrificed. I might add them later, but... It's been a while since I've been able to really focus on writing. Which is why, even though it took three hours, I kind of rushed it. I can see it when I look at how many of the paragraphs progress to another; it makes me feel like I left out something between them. Which I have... That probably wouldn't have happened if I wrote it in wordpad an took my time with it there, working on it off and on, but then it'd never get done... Which is why I resorted to forcing myself to get it done right here, though with the effect that I didn't want to stay here writing all morning to make sure everything was perfect. ^_^;

The nekkidness was part of the overall effect that I wanted rather than because of personal taste. Despite it seeming sensual, that was just the purity of the construct, a showing of another aspect of the known universe in one of its many forms. You know, to fill someone with a sense of awe at something new. Kind of like how someone being cured of blindness would see the world for the first time, a new way to sensing it from before.

And no, there was no mental transformation... Though I can't say that I depicted Duck as being, well, Duck. Blast that Duck! XD But despite his character, the effect of the transformation and introduction into something different from what he was used to (I'm assuming) drew him into exploring it. Of course, there were aspects of the change that influenced his actions, which would take time and adjusting to control.

And, um... Yeah, I'm done. ^_^;

Hey, don't worry about it! I have no objection to discussing theory with another writer. I think we all see stuff we'd want to change in our work. To my mind very few pieces are ever truly "done," because odds are good you'll see some facet or detail you'll want to tweak when you look at it again sometime in the future. What you could always do is take when you have here and copy and paste it into another document, and edit at your leisure. Consider this your first draft. And I think you got across the multiple aspects well; after all, I noticed different moods, didn't I? Also, remember that different things make different statements to everyone. Spiritual is just what this said to me; it reminded me of pagan rituals, which I have attended in the past, though not to the level of skyclad-ness represented here. In retrospect, that's sort of what that felt like. Even though I chose to tease you about certain preferences. ;) I'm glad someone is feeling creative, anyway; I'm totally blah as of this moment in time. I need a jump start. :? I can identify with your not having done any serious writing for a long time.

Yeah, never been to any of those kind of pagan rituals either. XD The people I lived with at one time tried to form a coven, but it never got anywhere.

And if you need a jumpstart... PM time! XD

wow.... i liked that, it was a nice detailed TF (and i so get what Guen means by the ritual) it does have a spirital (I'd say more of a bonding or releasing) feel to it.

The pespective you used to tell the story was really intiruiging and i think it added a good bit of depth, so i liked it.

I actually had a mechanism for doing automated and personalized second-person stories that I worked up for one of Akemi's stories (or Stecondies as she called the 2nd person insert-story idea).

I could see if I could get the program up on the site again, as it seems to have disappeared over the transfer to the new design, and if you want you could convert it to Stecondy format.

*Scratches head* I don't see why not, though I really have no clue what you're talking about. XD *Whaps self* I'm such a see-to-understand type of fool~...

Glad you liked it, Duck. Do you think I characterized you well enough? Or was I off? If so, it wouldn't be that hard to change.

Either/or, I guess. I mean, feedback aside, a few partially-related topics can't hurt. Besides, as soon as someone else adds something of theirs, it won't be "me" time anymore (if that's what you're worried about). There's nothing wrong with a little discussion about impressions and stuff; it's the same way with artwork, as there are impressions and reflections to be had.

If you ever get the chance to attend a ritual, take advantage of it. I really felt a connection, though the group I was with is presumably involved with that. And yes, I could use said jump-start; I'll take it any time you offer it. :)
