Since everyone is doing it, why not me

Postby Deathscythe13x » Mon Jun 21, 2004 5:25 pm

Since people seem to be posting their art recently here (mostly Geckojira,) I figured why not post mine too. So here are a few images that are more MSF then my other ones.

First there is a combination of Inuyasha and Kagome.

Second we have female version of Kiba from Naruto.

Thirdly is my original character Freya as a fox girl.

Fouthly is another original character Mia (Freya's lil sis) also as a fox girl.

I'm glad people like my art so far. I drew some last night so I figure I might as well post it here too.

This is Freya again, but drew her sexy, which I don't do a lot with her.

You know, those are fairly good for line art! The poses are interesting and the clothing hangs off them pretty well. You try putting a little more effort into inking the lines? Like.. playing with the line thickness here and there to give it a little more debth? I bet they'd look pretty good.

I have basically stopped inking my art, because I only did it to help with coloring in photoshop, but how I color now I don't need to anymore. So it goes from pencil to color now.

Like here is Cagalli from Gundam SEED, pencil on the left and colored on the right.

I'm trying to become more effciant in my art, which is why i've begun skipping the inking step. Now I have some nice pens I'll never use again. :: sniff ::

Oh and here is another drawing of Freya I just did.

I should mention I try to draw once a night, and that I don't color anywhere near as much.

Update 11:05 pm: Oh, and I just drew this too. I don't usually draw twice a night, but I did.

This is another original character Rinta. She's wearing a cloth. enjoy.

Effecient, huh? I guess it all depends on what you're doing the artwork for. If you're trying to pump out serious volumes in very little time, I suppose stream-lining it would be a good idea. ^^

I rather like the one of the woman in the cloth. But that's because she's half naked ._.

Well I want to get the art down so that I can do it quickly but good. That way I can use it for a comic or something.

LOL, well I'd figure as much. I haven't been able to bring myself to draw any of my characters naked/topless. I guess I respect them too much.

I chibi-fied one of my characters in this new art. This is the first time I think I did a good job with a chibi. I really gotta practice it more.

So here is Mai, chibi-ed.

*huggles Death* Hiya! I've always loved your art...even though I try to point out certain things that sometimes bugged me...I always mean it in the nicest, least critical way. The way you've developed as an artist just blows my mind. You draw in a way I always wish I could. Thank you for sharing your art with me and everyone here. Thank you *another big hug*

Thanks Major, sorry took so long to get around to replying to this.

So here is a cool drawing I finished last week.

I'm actually in the early stages of working on a new comic, which I'm currently calling "Quest to Nowhere." Its fantasy oriented, so its something I haven't really done before. I've got 2 character sheets done, I'll put links up below this.

Rinta Character Sheet for Q2N

Kiey Character Sheet for Q2N
