Actually I've found that the mouse works just as well with some practice.

I used to use a mouse to color, but using my tablet makes it a lot easier, and it lets me do stuff i couldn't do as wasily with a mouse.

Yeah...I got a tablet...only problem is that my desk doesn't have enough room for it at the moment. ^^;;

Tablet's cable won't go that far... and don't want to risk dropping it...

Mouse and tablet are good for different things thus good to have around... If you keep coloring with your mouse long enough you'll get to a point you can even draw with it decently but it hurts! Tablets are great but sometimes it's faster to navigate menus, tools and such with the mouse.

That's too bad it won't reach. The major difference with my mouse and tablet is that with the tablet and can airbrush in a pressure sensitive way, which you don't get with the mouse.
