Thanks Kiey. *huggles* I know that but sometimes I feel it just isn't worth it here.

It helps to not think of your picture as an end product ^^ It's more a step along a path that you have to keep trudging at. There's no 'bad' pictures, Kumi, as each picture you draw tells about you and your experiences, and your understanding of things in certain ways. There's always going to be room for improvement, so don't start kicking yourself now!

So taking the varying line size idea I came up with a way to do it, and I used it on the Orenji drawing. Granted I did this kinda quickly, but it came out alright I think. It's a little subtle so you might want to look at the original too, to compare.

Thanks you 2. I won't ever stop drawing. But I think I might not post them here any more.

nifty pics!

but in response to zack, ya know sometimes it's hard to think that way when so many others do a lot better than you, it's just a thing you can't control. you know that your don't "suck" but you can't help but compare (even though you know they've been doing it longer, have more of a natural aptitude, and take longer time on their work). But i do try to keep a positive attitude.

Well i don't suck, but I'm just ok-ish.

So here is some new art from me. Again its Orenji my fox mascot. First is a pencil drawing, then after that is a colored version unshaded. I tried some stuff with thicker lines on it too.

I like the last coloring. It is well-drawn in a rather cartoonish style which is not meant in any bad way. Actually i like cartoonish more than realistic when it comes to drawings and it is really good cartoonish so i like it.

Yeah it's a very animated art style, which is nifty beyond all compare.

Thanks, it came out cartoonish by mistake, but I like how it looks it works with the style I drew it in.

I hear ya'. But there's really nothing you can do about it. Believe me, you're always going to be looking towards those many many people who can draw better than you and be envious, no matter how far along you are. But that's what you gotta do, keep a positive attitude and try to keep things in perspective.

Here is my last drawing of Orenji for a while. Got inspired by something I saw on DA and thought it'd make a cool banner ish thing.

More art from me, this being Freya. Yatta yatta yatta, and I don't really hate this one. Surprise surprise.

Nice, Death. I like the eyes on that one. You've drawn eyes well for some time though, I think.
