Eh, I'm not all that good. I still have aloooot of ways I could improve. And I only color my things in watercolor. But thanks for the kind words!

So, I got that other thing finished.. and there's this idea I'd been playing with that I'm not sure what I'm going to do with. And as its somewhat relivant to the 'Magical Girl' theme, I figured I'd post a sketch I did of some of the main character design I've been toying with.

The idea was taking the magical girl Idea, doing it with Knights of the Round table and call it 'Ladies of the Lake'. I was considering making one of the ways it be different be having just.. nasty bloody violence. None of that 'monster glows and disapears after being defeated'. I thought it might be interesting having the suprised look on the girls face when she..err.. aaaaaaaaaanyyyyyyywaaaaaay...

The idea behind the design was a cross between a frilly type dress and knight armor.
I'm also figuring out a new scanner.

Well, thankya fer tha kind words. I'm still playing with this idea.. here's a similar design of that sketch, but altered some.
I like this one a little better. Got rid of some grills and added some more frills and.. scarf things. I'll probably do more than a design sketch of it later on.

Why do I think of an eagle when looking at her eye?

Because she has funky eagle eyes! I suppose..This character is supposed to be Arthur. I'm not sure if she's a guy turned into a knight type girl, a reincarnation type deal of Arthur, or just an ancestor or something. But I got the design *down* sorta ... anyhow.. this is what I've come up with.



I should probably note that I've been playing with six or so different designs for her hair. Most of them short, most of them involving braids or ponytails. Galahad is gunna have long blue hair, and Lancelot a pink ponytail. This much I know.

Wow, that's an amazing pic. The pastal shades and the combination of armour and frills works very well together. *Contemplates stealing Arthur, if it wasn't for the really big sword.

For background, how about something like the old comic Camelot 3000 - the characters are Arthur and his Knights fully reincarnated (minds, memories and all) as their own descendants to fight some the nameless evil that threatens the world.

You know, I've heard of that Camelot 3000 orwhatever thing a while back. It seemed like an interesting comic. Though I'd hate to just straight rip off someone elses idea like that. Although, I guess it wouldnt be ripping off if I took it in antoher direciton. Hm.

I liked her better with the eagle eyes, a nice angle of "threatening" under the cuteness is so cool ^_^

Seriously, though, excellent, cute piccie of a female knight even if was meant to initially be Arthur... maybe that evil Magical Chest Magician paid Arthur another visit. ^^
