I think it's the pose, but I'm no artist to say for sure.

These pics and captions are excellent Sent. The colours and details aren't done yet, but they are still very nice. They're also a lot better, and a lot more sensible than the source material ^^;

That looks really nice, Sent. The perspective shot works well, and she really looks like she unhappy to be waking up so early, and I can really empathise with that.

I really like the look of that style. The long limbs (seeming even longer because of the framing) and the soulful expression work very well and give a very nice look and feel to the piece. The unusual costume looks very cool too (is it one of the suits from the dimension jumping idea you mentioned earlier?)
