Definitely going in a slightly megaman feeling way. Maybe, a little, anyway. Maybe that's just because of the popeye arm weapon. But that's an interesting idea. A magical musketeer... not the three sword swinging kinds, but the actual musket using sorts.. but magic. I think I liked the picture you did a while back of the little hand guns related to this. And the hat makes me think too, of the french musketeer versions. Maybe you could come up with more ideas looking at how the originals dressed, if you haven't already... definitely an opportunity for leather straps and boots and clothes there... anyway, your idea, and its developing nicely. ^^ Just my two cents.
