Just two joke-y pictures I did inbetween things.
http://img56.photobucket.com/albums/v171/Legion_Pip/GnGDuo.jpg- I played AoZ first and the magicians weren't in it, but I recently got GtG (8 bucks, woo!) and was happy to see them. But they got rid of the village girl transformation! Maximo would have looked hilarious. They keep the old man and baby and get rid of her? Booooo

http://img56.photobucket.com/albums/v171/Legion_Pip/N.jpg- Blame Kasumi for this. For some reason we've talked about this show and its elements several times (check out the voice actors for the it, Hi-larious!). They butchered Simon even more than the other two, so I couldn't bring myself to draw him.

 Loved the GnG duo one. Remembered fondly of the TFs at Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts, and was saddened to see that none of the other TFs made to the Maximo games. Would have been funny to see Maximo as a jumping, clapping seal or a floating bee, as well. But alas, just went for the old guy and baby TFs. Ah well.

I really like your art! It reminds me a lot of Totally Spies... not that I watch it. I... just study the animation style... when there's nothing else on. *cough*

It's a very clean style, which is a fresh breath in a world where much anime artwork seems to be getting more and more complicated.

Thanks for the good word, Gecko. Do you think it's too bare though? Any suggestions to fix that?
I really like your pictures as well so as much advice as I can get from good artists helps.

Suggestions? Hmn! Well, you already have an identifiable style. I think you could accentuate it with some highlights and clothing detail. => You seem to use two tones at most, one for the base color, and one for the shading. To give a little more depth to the coloring, adding a third highlight does wonders! :> That's if you're going for the classic cel-coloring style.

Considering clothing detail, if you think your style is too 'bare', you could try adding more in the way of fold lines to your clothing. It's something I'm still learning, and I've been appreciating it a lot. Just try to study how clothing falls on a person, and how it wrinkles and warps, and try to convey that in your drawings. You don't have to be excessive since anime is an almost minimalist style in ways, but a little here and there can go a long way.

Other than... I dunno! All artists tend to progress at their own pace. For me, I found that taking chances with drawings is very helpful. I used to fear foreshortening with a passion, and would avoid doing any sort of dynamic pose in case the end image looked wonky. But recently, I've started experimenting, and I've liked the results. My best advice would be to just try out new things, and go with what you end up liking. So far, I think your crisp and clean style lends itself superbly to comic-style artwork. I have trouble reproducing the same character twice. =P

Freetime and the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. You know the drill.

http://img56.photobucket.com/albums/v171/Legion_Pip/Enker.jpg - I always liked Enker. MM was my third Game Boy game and I thought he rocked. It's just a shame that aside from a cameo they haven't used him anymore.

http://img56.photobucket.com/albums/v171/Legion_Pip/ClownMan.jpg - I totally forgot how much his voice makes me laugh. Every single time it just cracks me up. Kind of sad actually...

What are you talking about?! ClownMan was one of the easier ones in that game.

But I loved that voice. XD "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME!"
