Well, I've been uber busy storyboarding one of my Portfolio pieces, but somehow inbetween, I managed to draw and ink something for someone. It was a request from someone on the board, and I finally got around to it. I felt I needed practice drawing a male anyhow, so I finished this up a little while ago!
Say hello to Shuffle!
In all honesty, I'm not -entirely- happy with the pose, but I'm satisfied. I messed up on the shoes, and the right hand/arm doesn't look the way I want it after scanning. The ring and pinkie fingers are supposed to be tucked into his pocket.
Yay for my new Copic Multi-liners from Anime Expo!
OH! And soon, I should be getting in a copy of Comicworks and CGIllustrator! I just ordered both from Deleter, a company that produces Japanese art supplies. I had my eye on Comicworks since I visited Japan in 2000, but it's just not been translated. Another gem from Anime Expo! So now I'll be able to color things a bit better (I hope), with practice. CGIllustrator is sort of like Painter, but about $140 cheaper. As for Comicworks, it lets you tone images in the manga style. ^_^ I can't wait for them to come in!
