Excellent work, as usual! I especially love the glow coming out of the Drow girl's eyes. That sort of stuff is tricky. And her hair looks great, too.

I can't blame the female Night Elves for hiding, male NEs are scarey and about as elfy-looking as a orc with a battleaxe.

Some excellent pics, Zack. ^_^

http://www.regressionx.com/wow/ccnightelf.htm - good example of what the male and female night elves look like. In Warcraft history, there have been very very few males NEs about (mostly the druids, I think, but I'm not really up on the backstory) until recently when they started to return.

After 5000-odd years of no/very few bearded over-muscled wannabe-elf-guys, I can't blame the females for running and hiding ^^;

I don't think she's hiding...I think she's being a peeping Tina and spying on something she hasn't seen in 5,000 years :P Naughty night elves!

Actually it's rediculously easy! A friend showed me. For the glowy stuff, I leave the white space in the eyes open, then do a new layer with some fuzzy blue spots roughly around the eyes, then Gausian blurr it. And for the whispy glow trails, I do a seperate layer, set it to 'screen', and use a saturated color with fuzzy edges.. maybe smudge it some for the trail until it looks good.

And yes, the Night elf men were asleep in the emerald dream for some odd 7000+ or just thousands of years, supposedly all the males druids, and all the females the warriors of their race (Which was kinda cool an idea). The female warriors were called Sentinels, too. So I thought perhaps after so long without seeing an awake male, they might have gotten a bit curious again, or something...

(The below character was supposed to be scantily clad and with a rather large body set - which wasnt something I'd draw on my own, but the person's character.. they did a ton of renderings of them. o.O But I thought I might throw down a warning. Incidently, the renderings the person did were amazing, and I can link them to anyone interested)

**giggles** And I concur. That definitely ranks as amusing. I take it you use Photoshop too, then? I've never gotten the knack of using layers. I always manipulate images in one unified format.

Layers are awesome once you get the hang of them. And yah, Photoshop. I'm still experimenting. I downloaded Adobe Illustrator, but I'm nervous about installing it and trying to figure out a whole new program. But what I did recently with photoshop...

Oh, I like the very first one espeically. The style really emphasized her exotic mood. And I also like the color combinations.

I havent really been posting any of the recent pictures I've done, because I've just been doing so many each day. I started this thread on my server forum for WoW, and offered to draw anyone who posts there. I believe I've now done 152 requests (A good chunk of them fully colored), and it /seems/ to be winding down finally. ( I was hoping I Could actually break the thread first.) But here's some stuff I've done recently;
