Magical Sailor Fuku

Hi all!
I just had one of those flash Ideas that left me up on Photoshop all night so I thought I'd share it with you all.





I got the idea after reading some Sailor Sun comics. Kinda think the premise of the other planet's moons having Senshi too would work. Thus Io a moon of Jupiter, Just too bad for him no one has had any daughters recently.

Though I don't like fukus and certainly don't like sailor moon, I heartily approve of turning boys into cute girls. Bravo!
If I may recommend, the hair should be growing and the hands should be moving in each frame, though I know it must be tricky.

You got a good style, The picher it self is alittle fad in and outy look to it. Anything eals Arkain's already said. Over all thow it's a good pieace. Keep up the good work.

not bad, art style reminds me of another artist i've seen but can't remeber off the top of my head.

good sequenced panel effect though i think the face prob should have had a expression change, or at least move his eyes... so they don't look like there cross eyed looking forward.

As for style Lucky;
I did the picture in photoshop using the pen tool then bending the lines into curves. I do this while looking at another picture with a similar stance and trying to match it.

ZeroForever; have you heard of an artist named Mondo? I really like his style and often use his pics for reference.
I can't really draw worth beans. I always need another picture to trace lol.

Creative tracing, how about that.

Tracing isn't bad, someday though one might want to move on. I'd recommend taking an item like a head or hand, even a face, trace it like 20 times, freehand, trace another object 20 times, freehand.

This way you may gradually push your freehands kills further...

Oh yeah Sailor Phobos moon of Mars

Elaborateing on Coruscate's sujestion. If you want a better "process" or transformation sequence (Diffrent people call it diffrent things), you could take a number from a flash tutoral.

When animating free hand, to draw the 1st and last frams. You make the two transpartent, place over each other, and draw a fram of the "middle seance" of what happens in between that.


you then do it agien witht he middle and the 1st, and the middle and the last. It may be a good drawing stragie. I ues it my self when animating and finds it works good. I'm half asleep, so if you didn't get a word of that, I could just find the tutorial.

also on a more mille note. Poor Sailor Phobos, all she gettes is a astroid that got caught in mars gravity.
