Magical Sailor Fuku

Hey there. I guess I do draw one in a great while. Anyway take a look at a few thing that I've done and let me know what you think. Oh and don't be afraid to point out anything that I may or less messed up on or could do better on.

I'm really happy with this one. I drew in during a symphony rehearsal when I wasn't playing for a song. I sat in the back and drew them by eye with some kind of deformed cartoon style that I seen from some webcomics. This took about 10 hours to make. (It would of only took like 3 hours if I traced it in a darker pencil instead of using my Wacom tablet). Anyway, It was a gift for the guy that you see conducting there.

I did this comic really back in the day. I think it's ok. I don't think it "flows" thought and not to funny. Also it took 15 hours to get it done! (2 hours drawing and 13 hours just trying to get Photoshop down *sigh*)

Here's one when I was just getting started. I think I've gotten a bit better today then when this comic was drawn. (Also a bit to wordy)

I have quite a bit more but that's for another time.

Wow... 15 hours... thats just too much for my overly acelerated world. But its ok, they look nice.

The first comic is amusing. Sad part is, nepotism can really be like that.... Never underestimate the stupid people in the universe. They'll forever surprise you.

This time I tried some thing cute..... ( I think.)

Its cute, the best way to improve is keep praticing and keep turning stuff out. Also you may wanna try to focus on body praportions(and I know I butchered that word) ^^ either way keep it up!

I've found art books to be very beneficial. They really get you paying attention to smaller details, and give you references you might not normally have had before, not to mention pure and simply good advice. I've gotten a lot out of the "How To Draw Manga" series, though my first-ever volume was one entitled Anime Mania. It amazes me how much my art has improved since I started referencing those things.

Far away in the moonlight

I drew this just before I was going to sleep and this poped up in my mind. Well you know what happens to an person that gets an idea just before falling asleep.

Anyways, I know what it means to me, but I wounder what does it mean to you when you see it. Do you fell anything or nothing at all when you see this. I would like to know. ^^
