Renegade Story Contest

As Sophia is currently in creative overdrive and currently managed to free up her schedule, I figure I might as well spread the spirit. That's right, I propose a creative tourney of semi-kinda-epic proportion, all combatants welcome.

It's simple. I want to stage a writing competition, story style. The catch, I'm looking for TG stories in one of my favorite genres, Scifi. Now, when I say Scifi, I don't mean Scifi in general, but a superspecific subset of it which

1) Takes place in a contemporary or futuristic setting.

B) Involves the use of science to meet paranormal means.

1d20) Involves at least one paranormal being, creature, man who can be considered a monster in the sense that they defy normal biology.

These are my demands...er conditions. Give me 1500 words of that kinda stuff and you're in like Flynn. I'm judging this on a completely impartial system of how well written, captivating and plain out righteous the stories are and the winner recives something really cool like a scifi book or a scene from their story turned into a comic. Yeah, that's the ticket.

This is a completely renegade contest, not endorsed by any MSF celebrities, so nobody but me'll be held accountable for any misgivings. I managed to finagle an account at sendmeyourstory@gmail.com if you want to enter.

That is all.

Could the winner get money?

No. I don't like to deal in cash. I'll stick with art or books.

Must they be subjected to TG/TF, or just be part of the story?

No, they don't have to be the one TF'd if you don't want. They could be completely unrelated to the TF, I just likes the scifi monsters.
