And it looks a lot like my area, with the snow! Well, I'm in the city proper, but the region I moved out of in August looks a lot closer to this. And yeah, we've probably got a good foot or more right now, though it's supposed to warm up this week and presumably will start to melt off. I liked the second and last shots the best, aesthetically speaking.

It's very cold, and has different textures depending on the type. Sometimes it's wet and almost sticky- that's the stuff you make snowballs and snow men and what not out of. Sometimes it's dry and powdery. Sometimes it's more like slush, which is very wet and, well, sloppy. Snow can be odd stuff. Though once the novelty wore off, you might not be so enamoured of the idea.

It has a nice layer of ice on top, so I can stand right on top of it in some places. In others it makes a big crack in it but it isn't has hard to move in as regular snow.

I have to agree with Nikkou, #5 gets my vote too for the best of the batch. That one is NICE. Keep taking pictures, you'll just keep getting better and better at it. :D
