OH. YEAH. Guess who's internet is back at the scanner house!

Image Here's JaX! JaX's character is kind of ironic, because in reality, he's terrible with science. Teddy I redesigned a smidgen. Teddy was always JaX's guardian type thing, but I decided to give it a bit of a heavier arsenal and made it a psychopath. Also, I'm hoping to use JaX's science skills as an excuse to throw in TG. >_>;

Image And the Kisaki profile is finished. I don't think I need to really comment on it...

Image This is the tiny data sheet for Earth. Not much to say there.

I recently ran everything over with the real Kyle, who thinks it looks pretty good, and was actually very accurate for stuff I barely remembered. The only problem was that Earth was supposed to be conquered later on in the series, but I think it works better this way, and I have artistic liscence, so, NYAH.

On a non-Mantis related note:
http://tanya.secondgate.com/Bucket%20Head%20Larry.jpg <- Meet Bucket Head Larry, protector of truth, justice, and cleanliness. That's right, he's a super janitor, weilding the mop of justice, imbued with his powers from falling into a giant vat of radioactive cleaning solution. ...Yeah. I made him up as a joke one day, but he eventually became a character I use frequently in animations for my Digital Arts class. ^^;; And everyone at school (at least, the ones in the Artquest program) knows Larry, and either thinks he's hilarious, or hates him with a passion.

And that's all for now, folks.
SEE YOU NEX TIME

I'm sorry I haven't been active, folks. School's been on top of me. I've got a giant English project, and a ton of history essays to do.

Meanwhile, I have two comics I'm working on, random drawings, and a load of other personal stuff. KUHRAYZEE.

So while you may see stuff from me, don't expect too much until my winter break starts. Sorry. :\

Okay, over the break, I was pretty bored, so I drew
Image Axl Low, from Guilty Gear, in photoshop. As you can probably see, my mouse art isn't as good as my pencil art, but what are you gonna do? :P

The quote is paraphrased from the first half of his vs Bridget winquote from GGXX, which is probably my favorite winquote of his. I originally wanted to have an image of Axl's stage in the background, but I couldn't find one. :\ Thus, the giant flag. Axl is among my favorite characters (Along with Bridget and Robo-Ky) from the game, and I might do photoshop art of Bridget and Robo Ky sometime. (Like, if I ever have any free time before Winter Break starts. x_x)

O.O oh my gosh...that's amazing Tanya! I know how tough mouse art can be and that's just mind-blowingly good. Mouse art is the only kind I can do with my lack of scanner. I enjoy the simple, consider details on the character and face and especially the stylized font. The flag behind him rocks as well ^^ *tail wag*

Two things: I made a new version of the Axl art, with his London Stage in the back! (I originally intended to have this)

Next, I just want to alert you that the Mantis manga is beginning, under the title "The Intergalactic Justice Federation's Chronicles of The Mantis"-- I'm working on the title page. ...I swear, the more I work on this, the more I think I'm going to see Kyle/Hunter yaoi. (Not that I am discouraging this! Go ahead!)

Image Bridget's done.

I used the other side of the London Stage as you can see. The pack didn't come with Fairy Hamlet, Bridget's stage from XX, since it's only a GGX pack. And since obviously nobody's ripped the London stage from Isuka (Bridget and Axl's stage) I stuck him here. The quote there is part of Faust's winquote to her (hence the "-Doctor Faust" at the end), afterward, Faust says to him that her wish will surely come true-- I have no clue what he means, so I omitted it.

I spent more time and effort on Bridget, so he looks a little different from the style Axl was done in. I think it came out well.

Oh, and if you're wondering why I keep switching around pronouns, Bridget is a boy, raised as a girl-- in his story, there's a certain line I'm puzzled as to the interpretation; whether it means she perfers being a girl or isn't talking about that at all. (There's no dispute that the real reason he's bounty hunting is to disprove the myth over same-sex twins.) So I just switch pronouns every time I use one, because it's fun, and annoying for other people!

Two posts from Tanya in one day? GASP!

Image
This is something I do whenever I get a new sketchbook (This is the fifth this year, hence "Five" at the top)-- I take the first page and I draw a bunch of characters on it.
Starting at the bottom-- It's me in the center.
Starting from me and going left is Gunstar Red, Sonic, Earthworm Jim, Rockman squished behind Jim, Joe Musashi above Jim and Rock, Ristar below Joe, and next to him, Mario.
Going right from me are Kyo Kusanagi, Dan Hibiki, and Bridget-- The representatives of KOF, Street Fighter, and Guilty Gear respectively.
On the second layer, from left to right.
Left wing: Laharl, Crono, Link (Wind Waker), and Terra Branford
Right Wing: Iliuabeth Canciaris, Bucket Head Larry, Silver Tails (My very first character), and PHATOM (The funky Phantom)
And the top layer.
Front Row: Evan-- aka Koehne the Fifth, Brian, JaX, Kyle, Spencer (I didn't mean for him to be looking back-- It just ended up that way), Patrick, and Neil (With his Blanket)
Back Row: Nini, Kimm
Flying Overhead: The Flying Head of Robo-Neil (Robo-Neil is a character I created-- inspired by Robo-Ky in Guilty Gear. I thought it would be really awesome to have an evil robot version of Neil.)

AND!

Image
The first comic of "The (Mis)Adventures of Tanya, Starring the CACrew"! (This is the censored version. For a hint, the URL for THIS one is: http://tanya.secondgate.com/TMOT%201%20(Censored).jpg , so if you REALLY have to see the uncensored one, try and FIGURE IT OUT. :P)

It's not much, but it's supposed to be an intro. I actually have had stories planned for this for a while, but because I think Intros are very very important, I had to work with this so it came out halfway decent.

Well, there you go.

BRIDGET! OMG YES~ He's sooooooo cute. :D Personally, I think he'd rather be a boy. He's trying to learn to be "manly", afterall (Learning from Baiken! Muahahaha! XD). And he calls himself an actor. So, is just how it seems to me. ^^; *Shrug*

Your art style is so adorable~ *Tickles* Musa likes! ^_^

Everyone has their own opinion on Bridget. I just don't know-- mainly because of that line in the Japanese summary for his story (Which has stuff not mentioned in the US one-- I won't go into it though) which is confusing me.

Heeeeere's Robo-Ky! Who couldn't love the arrogant robot clone of Mr. Paladin, Ky himself? The quote is his winquote to Slayer. It makes me laugh and kind of sums up Robo Ky... He's arrogant, and if he won, he doesn't really care how. That's Zepp in the back, because while he has Sol and Ky's Paris Stage in regular GGXX, in GGXX #Reload, he fights in Zepp. (Possibly built there? Who knows...) As for his belt, it reads "Ennui".
I think it's pretty good... Anyways, even though I only planned on doing Axl, Bridget, and Robo-Ky... I guess if there's demand I'll do others.

Awesome! Love the expression. In fact, I like the faces on your artwork quite a bit. It's got style.

Three pictures.

First = Me with Snowglobe. Nothing much. I'm one of those people who, since they don't have it, is obsessed with snow. Also, those are my PE Sweats. I wear them a lot because they're warm and comfy. I don't know why I made the outermost outlines so thick. It looks good though.

Second = The Greatest Chrono Trigger Image EVER. There's some minor mistakes, (Namely, Crono's shirt has shorter sleeves, and Lucca wears shorts, not pants) but I think the greatness that is Frog makes up for it. "OH SNAP-ETH" Indeed. This is going to be slapped on top of a Chrono Trigger review I'm going to write.

Third = Ky vs Three Robo-Kys. Again, minor mistakes, (All on the shoes and swords) but it's still good. The third Robo-Ky got his color scheme from the colors RK has during the flash of red light for his Gen-Ky Lovers (Limit Lovers in America) move. Like the above, this is to be slapped atop my (long, drawn out, and filled with unnesscary info regarding previous games) review of Guilty Gear Isuka.

...Well, there ya go.
