Here is a little preview of the new comic... kinda. It's an unfinished look at the first chapter cover. I'm not sure if I'm going to tone the whole comic when I do it, or just shade it, but I figured I'd tone this.

Lately I've been doing a series of drawings trying to draw some of my female character "sexy." It's been pretty ok so far. I tried to draw each one in an outfit that kinda embodies them, I guess that's the best way to put it. Also did a drawing/coloring of Roronoa Zoro from One Piece

Looks good, Death. Don't get lazy with those backgrounds though. They're important. I read somewhere that a good comic artist puts as much detail into the cigarette butts on the ground as they do into their character's costume.... or something like that. Dunno who said it, but it sounds good to me. A lot of artists struggle with creating backgrounds these days (myself included), so if you can consistently create a sense of space in your comic, it'll stand out ^_^

New drawing from me, I know its been a while. So here is Nami from One Piece. I tried to immitate the style of the show/manga which is tricky 'cause women have unrealistic proportions like this, but I actually like how the women are drawn compared to how I usually draw, since it seems to be a lot easier to draw them this way.

I'll probably take another stab at trying to draw Nami, and I may try drawing some of my characters in the style too, just to see how it is.

I finally learned how to ink in photoshop... only too me like 30 minutes to figure out how it get it the way I wanted. So here is a new drawing of Nami I did, inked and colored. Inking took an hour and 30 minutes, coloring took about 30-45 minutes.
