DVDs. Why? Because they can improve both gameplay AND graphics, and in FPS + Fighting Games, and many action games, that is VERY important.
Just check with Hideo Kojima. (Or Dead or Alive 4...) He uses the high end processes for both good data AND good gameplay.
However, for many RPGs, etc., they definitely can have Cartidges. And Mini-CDs SUCK! They can hold Data, but ACCESSING it is the hard part! Also, movies lose extras, so DVDs remain supreme.
However, that's processer + RAM. And why 'classic' video games are best kept on Cartidges...
