Here, posted for fun. It's still quite an early draft but don't want to hide it away anymore. I will edit with better versions later on. (edit - Version 2.0, tell me if you see any weird paragraph bits or lost parts). Oh and Don't Post on this thread, post on the other one.

Prologue
A voice echoes in the darkness. It has a story to tell. It tells the story with as much enthusiasm as the first time it was told.
“The Maker stretched back Her slender, scaly body. Her eyes were cold and dark, like the universe she’d created, dotted with small glints of light. Eons had passed since She had bitten through the shell of Her egg, spreading creativity and growth, one layer of existence laying itself down across another. The Maker’s tongue flicked across galaxies, tossing them like dust. She had created so much. But Her other was invisible to Her. All have their other, even the Maker. She searched all She had made and could find no other. She knew she would have to create her other. It was easy. She dreamed of them and when She woke, Her creation was spread across all the worlds of Her thoughts. There were so many of them. She felt happy. But Her world was harsh. Her creations soon began to die, their energy drifting back to the stars. Soon, She was alone again. She bowed Her head. Each time She dreamed, Her creation only lasted a moment. She had little time to slither forth and look upon them before they were gone. Her sorrow swelled with each dream till it grew within her long, flowing shape. She swelled till She could hold no more sorrow and she burst into countless pieces, the sorrow within filling every part. Her pieces settled on a thousand worlds. Each piece became a new tribe of beings. But no matter how far apart each were from one another, they felt an innate connection to one another and with their Mother of All Things. And above all, they felt their destiny.â€
