The gun's styled after an XM8; When I was drawing it, I just put "Heckler Koch" (a leading firearm manufacturing brand) into Google images and saw what was cool.

I don't quite get the scanner comment....

Everyone knows that robots use sensors, and if it has an eye, it's a scanning sensor!
Or, the only eye usale, equipped with a scanner for better tourney experience.
